The system depends on a few things working together. The slope has to be consistent across the whole roof surface. Visible puddles forming after rain, dark stains where water pools regularly, blistered membrane surfaces, or algae buildup all point to a problem with either the drainage system or the roof's slope. If you notice the same spots collecting water storm after storm, that's not a coincidence. It's a pattern worth having checked out.

Sagging or visible dips in the roof surface, especially near the center or around heavy equipment, often point to structural deflection.
